ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely kowhaiwhai. I really like the colour in it. I am doing the summer learning journey too and I have drawn kowhaiwhai patterns similar to your one. Next time I think you should show your drawing a bit more to the camera because I can't really see it but your smile is wonderful. Well done Melemanu!

You are a very talented artist - especially since you mention this is the first time you have drawn a kowhaiwhai. I particularly love the use of colour in your design - how did you select the colours? Does the koru pattern remind you of anything that you can see in nature? What other things do you like to draw?
